APX Net Powers Growth and Upgrades in the Energy Industry

It’s no secret that while we’re experiencing extraordinary growth in clean energy in the U.S., we face challenges maintaining outdated nuclear, coal, natural gas and hydro generating facilities.

According to the American Wind Energy Association, “U.S. wind power has more than tripled during the past decade with over 60,000 active turbines.” “Solar has averaged an annual growth of 49% during this time, with Apple, Amazon, Target, and Walmart investing in solar and renewable energy at an incredible rate,” as reported by the Solar Energy Industries Association. In addition to these new energy farms being built at a rapid pace, the “U.S. still operates an estimated 9,716 power plants,” according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

You may be looking to replace your aging, under-performing T-1 copper services with fiber and increase bandwidth to one of these plants. Or perhaps you’re trying to get fiber to a new remote wind or solar farm project.

We see opportunity to help businesses on both fronts in this industry, replacing the old infrastructures and building the new. We have experience designing and delivering networks to some of the largest energy providers in the US and abroad.
